In this co-creation project I use RunwayML's generative AI tools for image synthesis (Diffusion Models) and my own digital photographs and prompts to explore the present and future IT infrastructures cityscapes of three Latin American megalopolis (Bogota, Mexico City, and Sao Paulo).
Using digital photographs I took in Bogota, Mexico City, and Sao Paulo, textual prompts for generating synthetic imagery, and two AI generative tools (RunwayML's text-to-image, image-to-image), the project seeks to create a tension between the possibilities of imagining the present and future of Latin American IT infrastructure cityscapes.
